Art, architecture and engagement at Campus Tensta

We’re proud to share that Hemsö is supporting the exhibition Peace with the Earth, now open in our unique indoor garden space Glaskilen at Järva Gymnasium in Tensta.

The exhibition Peace with the Earth is produced by Tensta konsthall and explores themes such as climate, care, global resources, and healing – right in the heart of one of our most exciting development projects; Campus Tensta.

Glaskilen 1), designed by architect Gösta Uddén in the early 1980s, is a striking space with exotic plants and a glass ceiling – a place where architecture and nature create a powerful setting for contemporary art.

The exhibition features sound installations, video, sculpture, painting, poetry, and spatial works. Participating artists include Ann Lislegaard, Aqui Thami, CATPC, Enno Hallek, Hira Nabi, Ingela Ihrman, Mats Adelman, Mona Monasar, Tom Bogaard, and Ylva Westerlund.

Peace with the Earth is a collaboration between Tensta konsthall and Järva Gymnasium, and part of a broader European initiative exploring the future of sustainable and inclusive cultural institutions. For us at Hemsö, the project reflects our vision for Campus Tensta: a vibrant hub for education, culture, innovation, and community life.

We’re proud to support this initiative by providing the venue and sponsoring the exhibition. A big thank you to Tensta konsthall and all participating artists for bringing this powerful and timely exhibition to life.

Peace with the Earth is open from 10 May to 31 October 2025, welcome to visit!

  1. Glaskilen is a light-filled, greenhouse-like space surrounded by tropical plants, located at the heart of Järva Gymnasium. Originally designed as a winter garden, it was part of architect Gösta Uddén’s vision when the school was built in the early 1980s.
