Campus Tensta

Our vision is to restore Tensta Gymnasium by creating a school campus with high-quality education where students of all ages, and from all over Stockholm, can meet.

Fast facts

Tensta gymnasium was opened in 1984. The property has been vacant since 2019 and has a lettable area of 21,000 square metres. The school has a green courtyard and winter garden. Hemsö acquired Tensta gymnasium and Tensta Träff in November 2021 and took over the property on 1 April 2022. Estimated occupancy of Campus Tensta in 2024. Tensta Träff opened for operations in autumn 2022 and will be renovated after two years.

  • History

    Tensta Upper-Secondary School opened its doors for the first time in 1984. One of Stockholm’s best upper-secondary schools opened in magnificent, Japanese-inspired buildings, while Tensta Träff became the new meeting place for Tensta residents. The buildings were designed by Gösta Uddén.
