Sports break fun in Pilparken!
On Wednesday 1 March, Hemsö, in cooperation with the City of Stockholm and Rinkeby Run, organised a full-day event “Sportlovskul i Pilparken” with hot dog barbecue, ice skating, trivia walk and ice skating disco for all children in the evening.
Rinkeby Run, an independent organisation focusing on promoting outdoor activities for children and young people, has been on site every day during the sports holiday and during the winter to teach children how to skate.
The event was very well attended with over 200 children in attendance. This is the last week of the ice rink which will be dismantled on Monday.
In connection with the event, we also received a visit from the Minister for Employment and Integration, Johan Pehrson (L), who was given a tour of the premises to see how the renovation of Campus Tensta is progressing.
